The latest Japanese sales charts are now in thanks to Japanese sales tracker Famitsu and it’s been a very interesting week for video game hardware. The best-selling platform was the Nintendo Switch family of systems, which shifted 145,178 units. Sony’s PlayStation 5 sold 40,459 units and Microsoft’s Xbox Series console sales are 42,891 and 3,684 units. Both of the new systems were supply strained.
