Physical games tracker GfK Entertainment has released the latest UK sales charts. This time, the GfK Top 10 is for the week ending June 26th, 2021. To say that this week’s charts were amazing for Nintendo would be an understatement. Out of the 10 games that have made it on the charts, 6 of them are Nintendo Switch exclusives.
One Nintendo game, Mario Golf: Super Rush, managed to dethrone Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and take the chart’s top spot only a couple of days after the game launched in the region. According to GamesIndustry, the game “had a relatively modest launch for a Switch release, although Mario sports titles rarely have big launches. Week one sales are 17.5% higher than 2018’s Mario Tennis Aces, although obviously the Switch install base was a lot smaller back then”. The full chart data is down below.
