Back in November 2020, Xbox Series X|S and PS5 players were delivering compliments to the chef as Team17 and Ghost Town Games served up Overcooked! All You Can Eat on the next-gen. Now though it’s time for gamers on older systems to gain access to the exact same plate, with a release date on Xbox One, PS4, Steam and Nintendo Switch all confirmed.
Overcooked! All You Can Eat will be coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC through Steam come March 23rd 2021. And honestly, it’s the best way to play Overcooked! as a whole.
You see, with the All You Can Eat edition you get access to more than 200 levels, all ripped straight from the first two games – Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 – , all the DLC you could wish for, 7 brand new levels and a new assist mode which lets you amend a host of options.
From there the meal gets a whole load tastier with things remade in up to 4K, 60fps gameplay promised (30fps on Switch), and cross-platform multiplayer options made available in a free post-launch update.
But that’s not all and the Overcooked! All You Can Eat edition drops in three new and exclusive chefs too, giving access to more than 80 in total. And of course, you can also download The Muppet’s Swedish Chef for free too.
If you’re looking to play Overcooked! and haven’t got access to Xbox Series X|S or PS5, then the All You Can Eat edition on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC will sort you out. Make sure you download it on March 23rd 2021 from the likes of the Xbox Store – you’ll find a bill price of £30/$40/€40. There will also be physical launches for those on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
There’s a new trailer too – fresh out of the oven…
