Valorant Episode 2 will arrive on January 12 alongside a new agent, Riot has announced.
The new agent for Valorant is Yoru, who has the ability to teleport for short distances.
You can see Yoru in action in the trailer for Episode 2 below.
Yoru’s abilities include a way to mimic footsteps using an echo, teleportation, and he is able to open a dimension in which he can throw a flash grenade which activates after it has hit a hard surface.
Along with the new season comes a new Battlepass and a skin pack featuring cosmetics from Episode 1.
If you are unfamiliar with Valorant, it’s a 5v5 first-person tactical shooter and is free-to-play on PC.
In the game, teams of five players are pitted against each other to win a round-based, attackers vs defenders, best-of-24-rounds gunfight.
The game launched its closed beta in April last year, and broke viewership records with 34 million hours-watched in a single day, and surpassed 1.7 million peak concurrent viewers. Over the course of its two-month beta testing period, an average of nearly 3 million players logged on each day to play.
