SEGA is streaming “the first live gameplay of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2” this weekend

Switch

SEGA of America is excited to invite everyone to join us starting at 9AM PST on Saturday, November 14, through 9AM PST on Sunday, November 15, where we’ll be streaming for a full 24 hours in support of this year’s Extra Life charity gaming marathon live on our Twitch channel!

Throughout our stream and until the end of the year, we’ll be accepting donations through the Extra Life website, with all proceeds going towards the great work being done at CHOC Children’s. You can find out more about CHOC and their pursuit of high-quality pediatric treatment by visiting their website: https://www.choc.org/. You can donate specifically to CHOC through our individual campaign page.

To kick off the stream, we will be showcasing the first live gameplay of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 ahead of its launch on December 8, including a look at the PlayStation 5 version of the game. We’ll be checking out all the different features of the game, leading into a friendly competitive tournament starring some special guests!

From there, we’ll be playing a bunch of SEGA titles both new and old. You don’t want to miss it!

What is Extra Life? Why, I’m glad you asked. Extra Life is an annual fundraising event where people come together to play and/or stream video games for 24 hours. During that period, players ask their viewers for donations that all go towards Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since 2008, the event has raised over $70 million USD for sick and injured children, with 50,000 participants last year alone. If you have further questions, there’s a helpful page on their site.

Now, more than ever, children and their families need our support to get through this pandemic, especially with the other challenges they may be facing, so we are proud to be a part of this amazing effort. You can expect plenty of fun moments, all going to a great cause.
